Supreme Court today stayed the execution of verrapan aides, now the question arises that does the supreme court really has the right to upheld the decision of PRESIDENT OF INDIA.If the President has rejected the mercy pleas then the supreme court should not firstly  accept the petitions of the convicts and secondly it should reject the petitions on the first hearings. After a so much long wait the country saw some action on the mercy pleas but these time of decisions put a undesirable restraint on action against those criminals
